Relief is a clay relief mold made from a metal “anti-sit spike” (or sometimes called anti-homeless or anti-skater spikes) on a building in NYC. The particular metal spike used to make this work (photo below) was a 6-inch metal spike frame on a corner ledge far too small to sit, sleep or skate on.
