In 1961 Jerome Robbins was living in New York City, and there was a man who would regularly stand on the street corner outside his building with the habit of snapping the fingers of one hand. Later that year, Robbins would direct and choreograph the hit musical West Side Story.

Using an earpiece, I piped audio from West Side Story into my ear and I attempted to excavate the snap, and restore it to its original location.
